Live Music In Conroe, Texas

Montgomery County is lucky to have access to a wide range of live music venues that feature some really talented artists year-round. In fact, Conroe was the 7th Texas city to be designated as a “Texas Music Friendly Community” by the Texas Music Office, Office of the Governor, in 2018. From The Table at Madeley to the Pacific Yard House to the live music six nights a week at Downtown Conroe’s The Corner Pub, you can always find a great show to suit your musical taste.

First Thursday Free Concerts

From April through September the City of Conroe invites you to find your groove at Heritage Place in Downtown Conroe on the first Thursday of each month. This season kicks off on Thursday, April 6, 2023. The free concerts are from 7 PM-8:30 PM. Bring chairs, blankets, food, soda and water. No alcohol may be brought in, but beer and wine will be sold and food trucks will be onsite. Visit the city’s website for more details and the 2023 lineup.

Conroe Crossroads Music Festival

After a very successful first year in 2022, this popular event returns to the area next month, April 13-16, 2023. Enjoy four days of live music featuring 40 shows at venues throughout the Conroe area. Just a few of the artists include James McMurtry, Django Walker, and the Dirty River Boys.

Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival

For more than 30 years, the Friends of Conroe have put on the Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival on the second weekend in October. The festival takes over the downtown with two stages featuring live music over three days and supports the community and local scholarships. This year’s festival will be October 13-15, 2023.
