Since 1990, The Friends of Conroe, Inc. have put on the best party in town on the second full weekend in October, which this year is October 11-13, 2024. The Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival 2024 is located in the heart of historic downtown Conroe, at 101 S. Main Street. The family-friendly event features non-stop live music with local, regional and national talent on three stages, plus food vendors, arts & crafts vendors, a professional carnival, assorted community and educational exhibits and an annual Catfish Pageant. Additional features include a Kid’s Zone on Saturday and Hispanic Family Night on Sunday evening.
The 2024 Entertainment Lineup is impressive with performances on three different stages. Featured performers include Josh Ward, William Clark Green, Escape: Journey Tribute and Bayou Roux. For more information on the various entertainers, check out Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival on Facebook or Instagram.
The food court will offer a variety of cuisines to suit any palette. From crawfish pie, gumbo and other Cajun delights, to catfish, turkey legs, corn dogs and more, a big variety of food will be available for purchase using Catfish Credits (BlastPass) which is a cashless option for food and beverages that use RFID technology that stores your credits for an easy payment process. This is the only form of payment accepted by the festival’s food & beverage vendors and saves you time and stress with no need for cash! There are designated Refill Stations where you can purchase a card and add credits at the event if needed.
The Woodforest Kid Zone will be on Saturday from 11 AM – 4 PM and entry is included with festival admission and no charge for kids 12 and under. Inflatables, spin art and a petting zoo are just a few of the features planned with the help of Conroe Party Connections. The Cowboy Kia Carnival will be open Thursday through Sunday and they are offering $35 all-you-can-ride wristbands.
It’s best to buy your Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival tickets online in advance to get the best deal as the prices will be higher at the gate. Kids 12 and under get in FREE as do military/first responders with a valid ID. There are a variety of ticket options to consider and go ahead and add some Catfish Credits because you know you will want to eat and drink! Please note that the Catfish Credits are not valid in the Cowboy Kia Carnival or Sunday’s Hispanic Family Night.
