Help Feed Those in Need

Montgomery Self Storage is sponsoring a Food Drive during the month of May, benefitting the Montgomery County Food Bank.

Donations may be dropped off at two of our locations, during normal business hours.

Montgomery Self Storage, 1418 FM 2854 Road, Conroe, TX 77304

We will take care of delivering the food collected to the MCFB in Conroe.

Did you know that 1 in 4 children in Montgomery Country suffer from a lack of proper nutrition? It’s likely even higher under today’s current circumstances. That’s why now is the time for everyone to step up and do what they can.

The Montgomery County Food Bank has specified that these are the items they are most in need of:

• Canned Meat: Chicken, Tuna, Vienna Sausage
• Other Canned Proteins: Bean or Meat Stew with vegetables
• Canned Pasta: Ravioli or Pasta with Meat Sauce
• Canned Fruit: In 100% juice or light syrup
• Canned Vegetables: Green Beans, Peas, Carrots, Spinach, Corn
• Canned Applesauce

Tens of thousands of people rely on the MCFB every month for food. Due to the effects of COVID-19, there is an even more critical need in our community. People who have been affected by workplace and school closures, those who are unable to leave their homes and neighbors who are experiencing reduced hours at work, look to MCFB for their next meal. Should you happen to be in need yourself, do not hesitate to turn to the MCFB for help.

If you do not feel comfortable or are not physically able to go shopping at this time, the MCFB does have an online Virtual Food Drive that you can participate in without leaving home.
