At Montgomery Self Storage, we recognize that the current pandemic situation can feel overwhelming. If you are blessed enough not to be dealing with health issues due to COVID-19, then you are likely left with a feeling of helplessness. Here are a few suggestions of how you can give back to the community during this time of social distancing.
As a locally owned and operated business, we understand the challenges that company owners are experiencing as we each respond with new ways of doing business. Few industries have been hit harder than restaurants who have turned to take out and some delivery to attempt to make ends meet. As a member of the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce, we appreciate the Chamber’s hard work in sharing and constantly updating this list of area restaurants and what services they are offering during this challenging time as well as providing other good resources. Please consider ordering from one of the locally owned businesses on this list.
The current situation is exceptionally tough on our senior citizens. Meals on Wheels of Montgomery County has two ways to help. They have created a Virtual Food Drive that you can donate funds to and they are still accepting shelf-stable items at three different locations. Please review this page for the details for both, including a food drive wish list.
The Montgomery County Food Bank is still open and continuing their daily operations. There are also opportunities for on-site volunteers who meet the qualifications as listed here and they are accepting monetary donations online.
Should you or someone you know be in need of the services of either organization, do not hesitate to reach out to ask for assistance.
The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center welcomes your donations at their Conroe location at 2125 N Loop 336 W. Details and hours can be found here. They are practicing all social distancing requirements and recommend scheduling an appointment. Thank you for helping save lives.
We have taken numerous steps to respond with new ways of doing business. We are following CDC guidelines and our managers are going above and beyond. We appreciate your business. Please let us know if you have any questions. Together, we will get through this challenging time.
