While the temperatures still indicate summer, it’s time to get your calendar’s set for fall. Here is a list of upcoming fall festivals and events in the Montgomery County area:
September 14 – Arts in the Park featuring Shakespeare in the Park
Enjoy an evening with family and friends at Rob Fleming Park in The Woodlands. Bring lawn chairs, grab a bite to eat at the food trucks and enjoy a free, live Shakespeare theatre performance of Macbeth by Upstage Theatre and The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra. 6 PM – 8:30 PM.
September 21 – Montgomery Wine & Music Fest 2019
This year’s festival features 40+ Texas Wines, the Sonic Children’s Area and live music all day with special guest Sundance Head at 7:30 PM. Historic Downtown Montgomery, 14420 Liberty Street, Montgomery, TX 77356, 10 AM – 9 PM, Wine Tasting, 11 AM – 7 PM. Presented by the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce, of which Montgomery Self Storage is a proud member.
October 11, 12 & 13 – Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival
Celebrate the 30th anniversary festival as the tradition of good music, good food, large carnival, family fun, and so much more continues. Presented by The Friends of Conroe, a local non-profit community organization committed to the enhancement of the quality of life in Conroe & Montgomery County. Friday, 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Saturday 11:00 AM – 12 AM, Sunday, 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Downtown Conroe, 101 S. Main Street, Conroe, Texas 77301
October 12 – New Caney/Splendora Community Fall Festival
Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, A.V. “Bull” Sallas Park at the East Montgomery County Fairgrounds, New Caney. Join the community for a day of fall fun!
October 19 – Woodforest Craft Fest
More than 30 craft breweries will roll out their kegs from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Christine Allen Nature Park in Montgomery. Featuring beer, live bands, a vendor market and fun family activities. There is a $25 entry fee for ages 21+ and $10 for those under 21. Firefighters are admitted FREE.
October 19 – Trick Or Treat Trail
Come in costume and walk the trail for tasty treats provided by local businesses. 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, stay after the trail for the Movie In The Woods, beginning at 7:15 PM. Presented by the Conroe Parks & Recreation Department at the Carl Barton Park Sports Complex, 2500 S. Loop 336 E, Conroe, TX 77301
