Tree Lighting Ceremony (6 PM) and Christmas on Main (7-8:30 PM), Conroe
Tuesday, November 29, 2022, 6 PM – 4 PM
Kick off the Christmas season at Heritage Place with the traditional Tree Lighting Ceremony and stay for Christmas on Main, featuring Santa, carolers, a hayride, Clydesdale horses, plus ornament and cookie decorating. Get all of the details here.
Friday, December 2, 2022, 4 PM – 7:00 PM, Conroe
This will be a festive drop-off event that will celebrate the community’s impact with holiday fun, sweet treats, pictures with Santa and more! There are several ways to participate in Stock The Sleigh, such as hosting a Food Drive, becoming an Ornament Fundraiser or Sponsor, participating in the “Deck The Box” Context or making a donation. Saturday, December 3, 6 – 8 PM, Cedar Brake Park, Montgomery
Don’t miss one of Montgomery’s most cherished holiday traditions. Santa will be available for photos and children can write letters to the North Pole. Cedar Brake Park is a magical setting of lights and decorations, made possible by the businesses and residents who decorate the light poles in ways that look fantastic by day and wonderous by night. Saturday, December 10, 8 AM – Noon, Magnolia Event Center
Join the Magnolia Education Foundation for Santa Photos, arts and crafts, live entertainment, trackless train rides, letters to Santa, bounce house, raffle items and a pancake breakfast. Donation bins will be available for personal hygiene products (toothbrushes, combs, hairbrushes, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, etc.). Donations will go to Society of Samaritans (SOS), a local non-profit that helps families in Magnolia ISD needing food, clothing and financial assistance. Saturday, December 10, beginning at 10 AM, Downtown Montgomery
Get in the holiday spirit with a full day of activities in Downtown Montgomery, starting with a parade at 10 AM. The 2022 parade theme is “Cowboy Christmas” and several awards will be presented to entrants. Then shop in the Holiday Market, tour the historic homes and have fun at the Snow Party from 1-4 PM. Don’t miss watching the “Polar Express” at the Cinema Under Stars, starting at 3 PM. More information and location details can be found here.
Festival, Saturday, December 10, 11 AM – 4 PM, Heritage Place, Conroe
The holiday festivities include Photos With Santa, vendor booths, inflatables, two real snow hills, face painting, petting zoo, pony rides, train rides, live nativity scene, camel rides, concessions and stage performances. The Conroe Friendly City Kiwanis Club 44th Annual Children’s Christmas Parade can be viewed from Heritage Place beginning at 1 PM. The event is free.
