Even though the weather isn’t feeling very much like Fall yet, there are lots of fun activities planned for the Conroe, Texas, and Montgomery County area coming up this Fall that you won’t want to miss. Montgomery Self Storage operates in and supports these communities and recommends that you put these on your calendar now.

1. KID FISHING DERBY

Saturday, September 9, 2023
Registration 8 AM, Derby 9 AM
Carl Barton Jr. Park, 2500 S. Loop 336, Conroe, TX 77302

This free family event is for ages 3 to 16 and bait is provided for this catch and release fishing derby. Please bring your own fishing pole. Trophies will be awarded at 12:15 PM for the Top 3 in each age group. Stay for the Kiwanis Kid’s Day in the Park, 11 AM – 2 PM. For more details visit here along with a detailed FAQ.


2. CATCH A SHOW AT THE CRIGHTON

3. CONROE CAJUN CATFISH FESTIVAL

Friday, Saturday & Sunday, October 13 – 15, 2023
Downtown Conroe

Since 1990, the Friends Of Conroe have sponsored the Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival which has grown to now feature numerous local, regional, and national musical acts on two different stages for three days. The family-friendly event also includes food vendors, arts & crafts vendors, a carnival, and a KidZone with a variety of activities for children. The Friends of Conroe, Inc. is a non-profit community-oriented organization, committed to the enhancement of the quality of life in Conroe and Montgomery County. 4. TEXAS RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL

October 13 – November 26, 2023

You are hereby summoned by the King to visit the 49th Annual Texas Renaissance Festival. From jousting to jesters and musicians to mead, there’s something for everyone, including nightly fireworks. 5. FALL FUN FEST

An annual, popular family event that is free to attend. Past Fall Fun Fests have featured face painting, inflatables, pony rides, fun booths and a wide array of concessions available for purchase.
