It’s the 65th Anniversary of the Montgomery County Fair & Rodeo – a Texas Tradition that has been supporting Youth and Education since 1957. Don’t miss the celebration March 25-April 3, 2022 at the County Fairgrounds, located at 9201 Airport Rd, Conroe, TX 77303.
There will be family-friendly events like Pig Races, Kid’s Tractor Pull and a Petting Zoo – all at the Buckalew Chevrolet Ag Knowledge Barn. The Livestock Show Divisions include Market Barrow, Rabbit, Lamb, Goat and Steer as well as Turkey & Broiler, Breeding Beef, Scramble Heifer and a Filly & Gelding Show.
Additionally, the county’s youth will compete in Ag Mechanics, Ag Robotics, Livestock Judging, Kidz-Q Cook-Off and a National Anthem Singing competition. Don’t miss the Fair Queen Contest and the Pet Parade.
Adults will have their own competitions, including a Barbecue Cookoff, Washer Pitching, Cornhole Tournament and lots of live entertainment. They will also compete in Fine Arts, Handicrafts, Homemaking, Horticulture, Needlecraft and Photography.
There will be a Youth Rodeo and a CPRA Rodeo as well as Ranch Rodeo, Barrel Racing and Team Roping events. While at the Fair, be sure to stop by the Country Store, featuring fair merchandise, crafts and food items from local citizens and don’t miss the Carnival.
Feature headliners this year include Kody West on Friday, March 25 at 9:30 PM and Sammy Kershaw & Aaron Tippin on Saturday, March 26, also at 9:30 PM. General admission tickets include concert access. Get tickets here.

Since 1993, over $2 million in scholarships have been awarded. In 2021, over 60 scholarships were awarded to high school seniors in Montgomery County. Over the past 29 years, just the Livestock Auction alone has earned almost $20,000,000, paid back to the youth of Montgomery County.
