The Montgomery County community is offering several opportunities for safe, socially-distanced, family holiday fun. Montgomery Self Storage is happy to share this carefully curated list of 2020 Christmas Events in Montgomery County, TX. Whether you are in Conroe, Magnolia or Montgomery, here are several options that will please the entire family.
Nightly through December 31, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Woodforest is inviting the public on a Merry & Bright Tour of Lights for a drive-thru experience to see miles of shimmering holiday displays. The starting point will be the Christine Allen Nature Park, 5831 Woodforest Parkway South, Montgomery, TX 77316 and guests can follow the signs for the more than 70 light displays and to “Santa’s Workshop” where they can take holiday photos and drop off letters in Santa’s mailbox. On Saturdays, Santa’s Workshop will also have take-home cookie decorating kits, jingle bells, hot cocoa and reindeer food from 6-8 PM, while supplies last. A special Spotify playlist will provide a cheery backdrop to the festivities. More details and a map can be found here.
December 5, 5:30 PM
Join Commissioner Charlie Riley, Montgomery County Precinct 2, and the City of Magnolia to ring in the Christmas Spirit and celebrate 40 Years of Magic at the annual parade at Magnolia Unity Park & Nichols Sawmill. Constable Chris Jones with Montgomery County Precinct 5 is the Title Sponsor and will be providing security for the event. Learn more here.

Caroling, photos with Santa, and thousands of holiday lights are part of this cherished City of Montgomery holiday tradition held at Cedar Brake Park, 21358 Eve St. (Hwy. 105 W) in downtown Montgomery. New this year will be Letters to Santa, which will be answered if an address is supplied. Visit their website for more information.
Saturday, December 12, 11 AM – 4 PM
This free family event will feature two real snow hills, face painting, pony rides, petting zoo, train rides, live nativity scene, camel rides and more. It all happens at Heritage Place in Downtown Conroe. Click for more details.

Don’t miss the 42nd Annual Conroe Friendly City Kiwanis Christmas Parade in Downtown Conroe. This year’s theme is “A Blessed Christmas” and spectators will see school bands, dance and drill teams, cheerleaders, drum and bugle corps and plenty of floats. Santa will come at the close of the parade to hail in the Christmas season. Details here.
Saturday, December 12, 9 AM – 5 PM
A full day of Christmas activities begin with the parade, which winds through Historic Downtown Montgomery from 9 AM-11 AM. This year’s theme is “A Lone Star Christmas” so bring your flags, your boots, and your holiday spirit to Montgomery. After the parade, shop in the Holiday Market, enjoy the Cookie Walk (in the Community Center) and the Candlelight Tour of historic homes. More details can be found here.
