Support the Assistance League of Montgomery County Thrift Shop in Conroe, Texas

Montgomery Self Storage is always happy to promote organizations that benefit the community in our blogs. Additionally, we have featured several of our clients in the past. It’s always nice when the two coincide like the Assistance League of Montgomery County, a client at our FM 2854 location in Conroe.

The Assistance League of Montgomery County is one of the 120 chapters of the National Assistance League and is dedicated to transforming the lives of children and adults through community programs such as Operation School Bell, Fans for Friends, Tender Loving Care Dolls, Pass It On, Caring and Sharing as well as providing Assault Survivor Kits and over $100,000 in scholarships.

The Thrift Shop Supports the Community Programs.

Over 80% of the budget that supports these great programs comes from earnings from the Thrift Shop. Located at 126 North San Jacinto Street in Conroe, the Thrift Shop is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10 AM – 3 PM and is staffed entirely by member volunteers who create a tastefully appointed and always inviting place to shop. Shoppers will find boutique-quality clothing and everyday wear, jewelry, electronics, toys, furniture, home décor, kitchen items as well as seasonal items and holiday decorations.

The Thrift Shop welcomes donations such as gently used, clean clothing, jewelry, toys, household items, electronics, sports equipment, books, seasonal items and furniture in good, saleable conditions. The value of the merchandise donated is tax-deductible and gratefully appreciated. Donation guidelines can be found here and are accepted during store hours.
