Open House at The Learning Zoo

Bring the whole family out to explore, meet amazing animals from around the world, and even take photos with a python or a pony. The Learning Zoo is owned and operated by a professional zookeeper with over 15 years of experience who is passionate about bringing children and families closer to nature, encouraging conservation, and educating the community through personal encounters with wildlife. Tickets are $8 per person online, and $10 at the door for all guests over the age of 12 months. The last admission will be at 1:30 PM. Reptile Shows will be happening throughout the day! Memorial Day Brunch at Walden’s Lakeview Dining

Enjoy stunning views of Lake Conroe and a delicious brunch with a huge range of hot and cold options as well as desserts to die for. Adults are $36, Kids 6-11, are $18, and 0-6 are free. Memorial Day Observation & Dedication of THE LINE presented by the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission, featuring speakers Congressman Morgan Luttrell of Texas’ 8th District and Brigadier General John C. Hafley. Covered seating is provided and Parking is available at the Montgomery County Library Parking Lot for those needing assistance additional parking is located across the street at the Park & Ride Lot with overflow parking available at 100 I-45 N, Conroe, TX 77301. Originally founded in 1899 as the American Veterans of Foreign Service, the VFW continues to be a voice for veterans, currently deployed members of our Armed Forces and their families.
