4th of July Celebrations 2024 in Montgomery County, TX

 Montgomery Self Storage is pleased to once again share this list of family-friendly events planned to celebrate Independence Day throughout Montgomery County. The City of Conroe kicks things off the weekend before Independence Day. Many are located near one of our seven locations in the area.

SATURDAY, JUNE 29, 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Conroe’s 3rd Annual Stars & Stripes Celebration
Heritage Place Amphitheater

The event will feature numerous kid’s activities, a vendor market and there will be a variety of food trucks. Sundance Head, winner of “The Voice,” will perform the National Anthem, so arrive early. The Conroe Symphony Orchestra will take the stage at 8:00 PM followed by a spectacular fireworks display starting at 9:15 PM. Bringing your lawn chairs or blankets and plenty of water is encouraged.

Valley Ranch 4TH Fest, New Caney
The Hill at Valley Ranch

Promising Family Fun and Fireworks, this Independence Day celebration is free to the public and will feature one of the best fireworks displays in Montgomery County along with live music and entertainment from 5:00 PM-9:40 PM. Additionally, there will be a “Flavors of Freedom” Food Court, A “Little Patriots Play Zone,” a “Car-Nation” Car Show, Yard Games, Eating Contests and more. The “Shop Small Y’all” shopping market will feature dozens of local businesses and the “Red White and Brews” full-service cash bar. More information about the event can be found here.

THURSDAY, JULY 4, 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM
4th of July Fireworks Celebration on Lake Conroe
Safe Harbor Walden Marina

The lakeside community of Walden is once again providing its annual fireworks show over Lake Conroe which can be seen from all over the area. Fireworks will begin at dusk and boaters are asked to be patient and safe in the dark as there will be hundreds of boats on the water. Click for more information and a map.

FRIDAY, JULY 5, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
City of Magnolia’s Annual Fireworks Show
Unity Park, Magnolia

Join the City of Magnolia for their annual celebration in Unity Park featuring food trucks, vendors, inflatables, live music and face painting, Free admission, Unity Park opens at 5 PM, fireworks show begins at 9 PM. Details can be found here.

SATURDAY, JULY 6, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Freedom Fest, Montgomery Historic District

Montgomery’s annual “Anything But A Trailer Parade” kicks off the festivities with the theme “Patriotic Pioneers” beginning at 9 AM. Other activities such as the Kid’s Zone – featuring fun and games – and the Freedom Fest Market featuring the monthly Lone Star 1st Saturday vendors as well as other artisans and merchants will be from 9 AM – 3 PM.

The local merchants in Historic Downtown will also be open and ready to welcome you. Freedom Fest is a collaboration between the City of Montgomery and the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce, an organization that Montgomery Self Storage is a proud member of. Conroe VFW Annual Independence Day Picnic in the Park Celebration

Join VFW Post 4709 to celebrate America’s Birthday at Candy Cane Park, behind the VFW at 1303 W Semands Ave. Conroe, TX 77301. Enjoy hot dogs, a bounce house and a dunk tank.
