4th of July Celebrations 2023 in Montgomery County, Texas

There are a number of ways to celebrate America’s Freedom this year, starting on Saturday, July 1st through Tuesday, July 4th. We are pleased to share this list of family-friendly events planned throughout Montgomery County. Enjoy your holiday weekend with your family and friends.


SATURDAY, JULY 1, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM
Freedom Fest, Montgomery Historic District

The Anything But A Trailer Parade featuring this year’s theme of Stars & Stripes Forever begins at 9 AM. Other activities such as the Kid’s Zone – featuring bounce houses and games – plus the Crafter’s Market will be from 9 AM- 3 PM.

The Crafter’s Market includes local homemade, handmade, and homegrown vendors who showcase each month at the Lone Star 1st Saturday events. The local merchants in Historic Downtown will also be open and ready to welcome you. Freedom Fest is a collaboration between the City of Montgomery and the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce, an organization that Montgomery Self Storage is a proud member of. SATURDAY, JULY 1, 11 AM-2 PM
Conroe VFW Annual Independence Day Celebration

Join VFW Post 4709 at Candy Cane Park, behind the VFW at 1303 W Semands Ave. Conroe, TX 77301 to celebrate America’s Birthday. Enjoy hot dogs, snow cones, outdoor games, a bounce house, and a dunk tank. Don’t miss the family fun! Map and more information can be found here.


SATURDAY, JULY 1, 6:00-9:30 PM
Conroe’s Stars & Stripes Celebration

6:00 PM-9:00 PM – Free Kid’s Activities and Main Street Market
6:45 PM – Sons of the American Revolution
7:45 PM – City of Conroe Honor Guard
8:00 PM – Conroe Symphony Orchestra performing American Classics
9:15 PM – Fireworks Show

The Main Street Market will feature over 50 vendors including the many talented local artists, makers, bakers, boutiques, entrepreneurs, and food trucks. More details can be found on the City of Conroe’s website or the Facebook Event page. The event is presented by the City of Conroe and the Conroe Lake Conroe Chamber, which we are members of. 

 

TUESDAY, JULY 4, 5 PM 
4th of July at Unity Park
Unity Park, Magnolia

Join the City of Magnolia for their annual 4th of July Celebration in Unity Park featuring food trucks, inflatables, face painting, music, fireworks, and fun! Free admission, Unity Park opens at 5 PM, the fireworks show begins at 9 PM. Details can be found here.


TUESDAY, JULY 4, 5 PM – 10 PM
Valley Ranch Fourth Fest, New Caney
The Hill at Valley Ranch

This classic Independence Day celebration is free to the public and will feature one of the largest fireworks displays in Montgomery County along with live music from local bands on the Freedom Over Texas Music Stage. There will be a “Pay-to-Play” zone for families offering a rock wall, petting zoo, pony rides, exotic reptiles, GellyBall bounce houses, and more. The “Shop Small Y’all” exhibitor shopping market will feature dozens of local businesses and the “Red White and Brews” full-service cash bar.
